Role:

You will be setting up homes for the first time & turnovers. You will meet with owners to pick up keys, thoroughly inspect properties upon move in(and do occasional repairs), deliver furniture & non-furniture items and decor to properties throughout the Bay Area. Serve our residents and our maintenance teams in the field with tasks big and small. Whether that's replacing a lightbulb or smoke detector battery, supervising a vendor appointment, or delivering an extra set of keys to a resident who accidentally locked themselves out of their home, you help our operations team deliver a world-class hospitality experience to our residents. This role incorporates driving to properties and an eye for detail so the property is up to 2nd Address standard and ready for guest move-in. Check and check again!

This role will require an individual with flexible schedule from few hours up to 9 hours per day of any given day of week including weekend. Will be compensated on an hourly basis with seasonal part-time hours(20-30 hours or more per week in June, July, and August, with fewer hours in other months).


Responsibilities:

  • Safely/accurately deliver any required items(e.g. furnitures, decor, toiletries, etc) for first set up & turn over of 2nd Address units
  • Fix as many issues as possible during inspection & report to 2nd Address supply team and the leasing office
  • Meet face to face with owners and guests alike to solve any issues.
  • Work closely with Resident Experience coordinator to stage entire properties complete with everything from throw blankets to artwork to glassware using designer created slides.
  • Decorate properties including hanging art, making beds, and assembling some small furniture items, and occasionally larger furniture items as needed.
  • Communicate progress updates throughout the day to note any changes to on-boarding schedule.
  • Lift and move furniture and supply bins of up to 50 lb individually, and up to 100 lb or more with other techs and/or a dolly
  • Make sure building access and cable/internet are set up and working


What We're Looking For

  • Desire for field role
  • Flexible schedule: Schedules have to change quickly and we need you to be able to move with them.
  • Attention to detail is a must. Everything needs to be up to 2nd Address Standard.
  • Clear communication at all times. Updates help keep us on track. Regardless of whether things are going right or wrong, field ops team members, the warehouse team, and the city coordinators need to be on the same page.
  • Must have reliable automobile transportation(preferably a large car or van) and a valid Driver’s License(Clean) and insurance.
  • Own transportation to properties around Bay Area(from SF - East Bay - South Bay)
  • Weekend work needed! Prioritizing those who are open to working 1 or 2 weekend days, in exchange for 1 or 2 week days off
